Why Sacred Encounters?
I grew up beside a frog pond where sounds of the natural world told me I was part of something beautiful and that I belonged. It was a vast landscape where I learned to play and create. It was a dear companion where I learned to navigate our world.
These sacred encounters are still where I make sense of the mystery called life. We all have these encounters with nature and with each other. My sincerest hope is that the encounters I share might plant a seed or two within you where you can explore your own stories.
If we dive a little deeper, we begin to see a vast inner world. What does yours look like? Is there a mountain you have to climb that no one else sees or understands? Are there storms? What about a pesky mosquito that never quite gives up?
My storytelling and teaching are about us reclaiming our inner landscapes ... to snip the fences trying to cage us in ... to move out of darkness and into light ... to make sense of our own unique but universal stories.
In the end, I hope we will laugh together and all will know none of us is alone. Come join me.
Let's honor the stories that make us human. See you soon.

Sometimes, an unexpected encounter takes place. Sometimes, it is as simple as a stone being placed in your hand, and you suddenly see yourself as you are - captured, a woman in stone. And you know you must change your life - you must set yourself free.
